Ligurian majolica plates

In 1948, during one of the first actions to collect material, undertaken for the purpose of forming the museum’s collection, the Museum of the City of Split received from an unknown donor a group of five serving bottles – decanters – made out of opaque, milky-white, opaline glass, and depicted with multi-coloured simply stylized floral motifs and gilding.
