Archaeological research of the Basement of Diocletian’s Palace in Split, 1968. -74.
The majority of the moveable artefacts excavated during the international archaeological research of the south-eastern part of the basement of Diocletian’s Palace, carried out as part of the Yugoslav-American Collaboration Project in the period from the end of the 1960s to the mid-1970s, are preserved in the Museum of the City of Split. A multidisciplinary approach was applied to the archives for the first time during the exploration and processing.
