Panaches
The Turkish type of panache were given to soldiers for military accomplishmen. This piece of jewellery was simple and made of one oval silver plate (Croatian agrafa) with three or more affixed bud-like silver or golden feathers.
A coloured stone or a coloured glass was placed in the centre (usually a garnet). The front part was usually decorated with gold wire and, above the forehead, with a spoon-shaped metal oval plate. The shape is the reason it is called a kašikluk or sorguç .
